Jolly Waters Swim School is now in its seventh year of existence.  We are situated in Grootfontein Country Estates and we provide quality swimming lessons for children in the Pretoria-East area.  Our lessons cater for both toddler and school going children.  

Our primary focus is on water safety/learn to swim.  It is very important for children to have the opportunity to develop effective water safety skills.  Learn to swim and water safety are central components of this process and enables children to enjoy water activities, and provides parents peace of mind as far as their safety in the water is concerned. 

Jolly Waters Swim School also owns a bus manned by a reliable driver with a PDP License which enables the transport of children to and from swimming lessons.  This has been found particularly helpful as far as Nursery Schools are concerned as many parents work full-day and do not have the capacity to take their children for swimming lessons.

At Jolly Waters Swim School we strive for personal attention to each and every child.  Swimming lessons are provided in small groups to ensure personal attention and interaction with every learner.  Our swimming instructors have excellent qualifications and many years of experience.  Our swim stroke correction programme leads to advanced and professional swim styles.  We strive to teach all four swimming strokes:  freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.  Jolly Waters Swim School offers you the following:

• Our indoor heated pool creates a relaxing and fun environment to help children learn to swim naturally  

• Small class sizes ensure personal attention and interaction with the instructor. 

• Our qualified teachers love working with children and is equiped to teach your child water safety as well as proper stroke techniques

• Our toddler classes particpating in the water safety programme have fun whilst in a learning environment

• Option of one or two lessons per week at 30 minutes per session. 

• Fully equipped changing rooms for boys and girls with separate bathrooms.  The changing rooms/bathrooms are also equipped with additional heating for the children’s comfort.

• Fully equipped kitchen where the parents can enjoy a cup of coffee/tea while their children are swimming.

• Safe and spacious parking.

We have bi-annual “open days” where the children can show their parents what they have achieved thus far.  This has proved to be very popular and instils a sense of achievement for every child, inspiring them to further progress in their swimming journey.  Awards are also handed out at during these events.

Our swim school operates during school terms only.  The school will be closed during school holidays and public holidays.

Full payment of the lessons is required at the time of enrolment. Payment needs to be made by Electronic transfer.  No cash or cheques will be accepted without prior arrangement.  Lessons will be from Monday to Friday.
